Students enrolled in Delhi govt universities doubled in 10 years: Atishi

In a circular to the colleges and universities in the state, the Directorate of Higher Education has mentioned to put a blanket ban on the use of mobile phones.

The Directorate of Higher Education issued the circular to ensure a better teaching environment for students across all colleges and universities in the state.
The government has observed that a large number of students and teachers were spending valuable time on mobile phones during the college hours.
Yogi government has already banned the use of mobile phones during the official meeting in the state, including Cabinet meeting.
It was observed that during the meetings, some ministers and officers were busy reading messages on WhatsApp.
