Odisha CID nabs two from Gujarat in Rs 1.08 crore ‘digital arrest’ case
The fraudsters were identified as Vaghela Arvindsinh (24) and Gohli Vishvarajsinh Bharat Sinh (24), both natives of Bhavnagar district in Gujarat.
At least six people died and 12 others, all members of a Jatra theatre troupe, were critically injured as the truck carrying them skidded off a ghat road and fell into a 20 feet ditch in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district on Wednesday.
The fatal road accident occurred at a blind curve of Dwarsuni Ghat on the National Highway number-49 in Bangiriposhi police station jurisdiction.

Dense fog and reduced visibility resulted in the mishap. The injured were extricated from the mangled truck after an hour of rescue operation by fire brigade personnel.

The injured were rushed to the Medical College hospital in Baripada. Most of them were seriously injured, police said.
