Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday said mere procedural reforms cannot end corruption and there was a need to change tendencies of people as well.
Addressing a book launch event, the Home Minister said: “Corruption doesn’t can’t be stopped only by procedural reforms, we need to change tendencies of people as well.”

Stressing that there was no “definite definition” of corruption, Rajnath praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for “working honestly” to end the menace of corruption.

“Our Prime Minister has initiated a fight and is he working honestly and sincerely to end corruption,” Rajnath said.
“He has introduced a series of reforms to clean the system,” he added.
