TNPSC recruitment 2019: Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has released an online notification inviting applications for the posts of for the posts of Assistant Geologist and Assistant Geochemist. Interested candidates should apply online on the official website-www.tnpsc.gov.in by March 11, 2019.
Vacancy division:
• Assistant Geologist in Department of Geology and Mining: 10 posts

Dates to remember:
• Last date to apply online: Mach 11, 2019
• Last date for payment of Examination Fee: March 13, 2019
• Date of examination (Paper 1): April 21, 2019, from 10 AM to 1 PM.
• Date of examination (Paper 2): April 21, 2019, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
Application Fee:
• General/OBC category: Rs 300
• SC/ST/Differently Abled/Ex-Servicemen: Rs 150
Age limit:
• All the interested candidates should not be more than 30 years old.
• There is no upper age limit for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, BCs, BCMs MBCs/DCs, and Destitute Widows of all castes.
Educational qualifications:
• Assistant Geologist: Interested candidates must possess M.Sc Degree in Geology of any recognised University or Institution.
• Assistant Geochemist: Interested candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Geology (OR) Applied Geology (OR) Master of Science (Technology) in Hydrogeology with Geochemistry/Chemistry as one of the subjects in degree level or in the Post Graduate level of any University.
Selection Procedure:
• The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of Written examination and Oral Test.
