World Music Day was observed in the city with great enthusiasm.
TNEA 2019: The Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai has released the official notification for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission 2019. The candidates who want to apply online should do so on the official website-tneaonline.in
The last date to apply online is May 31, 2019. The duration of the course will be 4 Academic years (B. E. / B. Tech) and 5 Academic years (B. E. Sandwich).

• General category candidates: Rs 500
• SC /SCA /ST category belonging to Tamil Nadu: Rs 250
Selection Procedure:
• The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the prescribed subjects reduced to 200 (Mathematics: 100, Physics + Chemistry: 100) in the qualifying examination.
• The qualifying marks of the candidates are given below:
• General Category: 45 percent
• Backward Class including Backward Class Muslim/ SC/SCA/ST: 40 percent
