He further added that in last few weeks, thousands of Indians returned to India from abroad and hundreds of migrant workers reached their home towns. Almost all modes of transport have resumed operations, still COVID-19 impact has not been that huge in India as in other parts of world.”

As of now, India has reported 3,43,091 cases of the deadly coronavirus. Over the last 24 hours, the country witnessed 10,667 cases of the virus with 380 deaths.
The overall number of deaths is at 380.
The Prime Minister is set to meet the Chief Ministers of the 15 worst-affected states. These states include Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Delhi and Gujarat.
The 21 states and Union Territories whose CMs are attending the meeting today accounts only 5 per cent of the total cases in the country.
