Shah reviews CRPF operations, lauds force for its role in ensuring peace
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, on Wednesday, visited the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Headquarters in New Delhi and reviewed the operational efficiency of the force.
Bodies have been shifted to the mortuary for post-mortem examination. A case has been registered in this regard at the police station of Bawana. Further investigation is on.
Three persons were electrocuted in the Bawana area in Outer North Delhi after an 11000-volt high tension wire touched an iron ladder, used for trimming tree leaves, on Wednesday. The incident occurred in the morning at around 10 am at a marriage farmhouse, Maya Mahal, in Auchandi village. The deceased have been identified as Faizan (19), Suhail (19), and Jubair (23), all residents of Meerut in Uttar Pradesh.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Outer North Delhi, Brijendra Kumar Yadav said that a PCR call was received at Bawana Police Station about the incident, stating that three persons have died due to electric shock at Maya Mahal in Auchandi village.

A police team reached the spot, where three persons were found lying dead in a charred condition at some distance from the main entrance. Upon inquiry from the locals, it was revealed that two of the dead persons were trimming the leaves of the trees using an iron ladder.

Somehow, the ladder came in contact with the 11000-volt high tension wire, which electrocuted both the persons standing on it. Meanwhile, the third person, who was digging the field for planting saplings nearby, rushed to rescue them. As soon as he came into their contact, he too got electrocuted.
These workers were engaged by Sandeep, a resident of Sector 24, Rohini, for trimming the plants and trees. Police said the marriage farmhouse is owned by Bobby Maan, a resident of Shahbad Dairy, Delhi.
