Rs 102 crore seized as I-T dept raids 55 premises in four states
The raids were conducted on October 12 at the premises of government contractors, real estate developers and their associates, they said.
Income Tax Department officials on Tuesday searched the residence here of Karnataka State Pollution Control Board Chairman Lakshman for alleged tax evasion, an official said.
“Properties belonging to him (Lakshman) are being searched by tax officials since 7 a.m.,” the official told IANS here.
The raids were on at Lakshman’s residence in Sadashivanagar, an upscale suburb in Bengaluru, and other properties belonging to him, the official said.
