India will have its own space station by 2035: Jitendra Singh
India is on the path of raising its Space sector to global standards and will have its own space station by 2035, Union Minister Jitendra Singh declared on Saturday
The candidates for the three seats of Kashmir Valley and the lone seat of Ladakh are yet to be announced.
Supporters of Dr Jitendra Singh, Union Minister, are upbeat as he has been retained in the first list of candidates released by the BJP on Saturday for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Dr Jitendra Singh has been named as the party’s candidate for the Udhampur-Kathua Lok Sabha seat that he has been representing since 2014.

The BJP has named both candidates for the two Lok Sabha seats of Jammu, while the names for the three seats of Kashmir are yet to be announced.

Singh is a BJP national executive member and was chief spokesman of the party for J&K prior to 2014 and came into focus during the Amarnath Shrine land agitation.
He won the Lok Sabha election from Udhampur-Kathua constituency in 2014 and 2019 with the highest ever margin of votes.
He has become popular among the electorate of the erstwhile backward region where he initiated several projects that have improved the economy of the people.
Before joining active politics, Singh was a professor of diabetes and endocrinology in the Jammu medical college. He was also a newspaper columnist.
He became a minister at the centre after winning his first Lok Sabha election and besides other significant portfolios was also given charge of PMO.
Jugal Kishore Sharma has also been retained as the candidate for the Jammu Lok Sabha seat.
The candidates for the three seats of Kashmir Valley and the lone seat of Ladakh are yet to be announced.
