Samajwadi Party MP from the Ayodhya Lok Sabha constituency Awadhesh Prasad dared Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to accept the challenge of his son and SP candidate from Milkipur Ajit Prasad.

He asserted that the people of the assembly segment have decided to elect his son MLA in the bypolls no matter how many times the CM visits the constituency, no matter how many ministers he appoints.

The SP MP, while talking to the media here on Monday, said whether the chief minister comes once, 10 times, or daily, it would have no impact on the people of Milkipur.

“The path to the 2027 elections will pass through Milkipur. A message will be sent from here that the BJP will be wiped out in the 2027 elections and the SP government will be formed in the state under the leadership of Akhilesh Yadav,” he said.

On being asked why he has not had a darshan in Ram temple, Awadhesh Prasad said , “My entire family is Rammay. The name of my ancestors starts with Ram. My father’s name, my grand-father’s name, my maternal uncle’s name and my father-in-law’s name have Ram in front or back, but no BJP leader has Ram in front and back of their name. Though there are some exceptions that some BJP leaders have Ram in their name, Lord Ram is in every inch of our life and our ideology is related to Maryada Purushottam Ram.”

He alleged that the dignity of Lord Ram has been destroyed by the BJP, but we will work to establish that dignity not only in Ayodhya but in the entire country.
