Cong gets new address at 9A, Kotla Road after 47 years
The new office marks a historic moment for the party's legacy spanning over 139 years. The grand old party has operated from the 24, Akbar Road premises for the last 47 years.
Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Thursday greeted the nation on the occasion of Baisakhi, Vishu, Rongali Bihu, Viashkhadi, Puthandu Pirappu, Maha Vishuba Sankranti and Naba Barsha, and said that contribution of the farmers must be recognised for a rich harvest.
"These harvest festivals celebrated in different parts of country convey the message of unity and portray the rich cultural heritage of our country," the Congress President said in a statement.

Extending her good wishes for a rich harvest, she said: "We must recognise the contribution, the immeasurable hard work and dedication of our farmers to the progress of the nation."
