The family of Sikh girl, who was allegedly kidnapped and forcibly converted into Islam in Pakistan, has appealed for help from the country’s Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Her family has alleged that the girl was forced to marry a Muslim boy after bring forcefully converted to Islam.

In a video shared by Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) MLA Manjinder S Sirsa on Thursday, the family of the girl has alleged that the girl was forcibly converted into Islam under the threat that her brothers and father would be shot otherwise.
One of the brothers, who identified himself as Manmohan Singh in the video was seen requesting Pakistan PM Imran Khan and Army Chief of Pakistan Qamar Javed Bajwa to help get the girl back.
In the post, Sirsa urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to take up the issue of safety of Sikhs in Pak at the global level.
He further urged that the issue of forced conversions in Pakistan must be taken up at the UN by India as it threatens Sikhs the freedom of religion.
Sirsa further appealed to the Sikh community across the world to stand against forced conversions in Pakistan.
The girl is the daughter of a granthi of Gurdwara in Nankana Sahib. According to reports, the woman was allegedly kidnapped and forcibly converted by a gang of local Muslim boys.
The reports come at a time when India and Pakistan ties have hit rock-bottom after the Centre abrogated Article 370, that granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir.
