SIIC, IIT-Kanpur host 10 batches for Artificial Intelligence-Entrepreneurship Development Programme

Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre, the technology business at IIT Kanpur, conducted a certified training programme under the Advanced Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Programmes (ESDP), supported by the Ministry of MSME.
Ten batches were hosted under the program on Artificial Intelligence- Entrepreneurship Development at the IIT Kanpur campus and IIT Kanpur’s Outreach Centre in Noida. The five-day-long effective Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme was organized to impart essential entrepreneurial knowledge to emerging entrepreneurs with the aim to help them establish MSMEs.
The professional training programme had over 130 individuals registering for the Artificial Intelligence – Entrepreneurship Development batches, wherein AIIDE-CoE’s startup cohort also marked their presence.
The Advanced ESDP and MDP training sessions are following a sector-agnostic approach, wherein multiple areas are being covered to enable a sound understanding of topics like, Artificial Intelligence, Biotech, Agritech, Sales & Distribution, Risk Management, and Strategic Management.
This initiative is creating a notable impact on the entrepreneurial ecosystem by providing required knowledge and significant benefits to the participants that include the following:
Entrepreneurship opportunities in identified sectors, business opportunity identification, modelling, and project profile.
Shortlisted innovative ideas to get an Rs 40 Lakh grant from the Ministry of MSME. With successful completion of this session, SIIC IIT Kanpur is starting the next batches under Artificial Intelligence Entrepreneurship Development programme from January 30, 2023 onwards.
This programme would benefit a broad range of individuals and highlight several crucial elements of entrepreneurship across multiple sectors. Attending the five-day training session, participants will gain business knowledge in their areas of interest, enabling them to establish successful enterprises from the ideation stage.
