Delhi Chief Electoral Officer Ranbir Singh on Thursday informed that the Special Summary Revision (SSR) of the electoral roll with January 1, 2023 as the qualifying date has been completed in the NCT of Delhi with the final electoral roll being published on Thursday.
Special Summary Revision-2023 was carried out as per the schedule prescribed by the Election Commission of India.
Singh said the final electoral roll published today shows significant increase in first time voters of the capital city of Delhi.
During SSR, Delhi’s electoral roll witnessed a net increase of 85,545 electors, including 42,275 male electors, 43,178 female electors, and 92 third gender electors, he said.
The gender ratio of electors registered on the final electoral roll has risen to 838 from 831 last year, Singh said.
