The CM expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to perform the Kanya Puja, emphasizing that this festival serves as a sacred means to show respect and empower women. In alignment with this spirit, the Mission Shakti programs in the state are effectively promoting women’s safety, dignity, and self-reliance.
“Both the Central and state governments have implemented various schemes to uphold the dignity of women, and numerous awareness programs were carried out as part of the fourth phase of Mission Shakti during the nine days of Navratri,” Yogi added.
The Chief Minister further said: “Tomorrow, which is Tuesday, marks the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami. Vijayadashami is a festival that symbolizes the triumph of religion, truth, and justice. It is also a symbol of the fact that in every era and situation, Sanatan Dharma has accepted the challenge against evil tendencies and paved the way for the welfare of the public and humanity.”
The Chief Minister expressed his belief that Sharadiya Navratri and Vijayadashami would instill enthusiasm, joy, and happiness in the lives of all citizens. He believed that the blessings of Mother Goddess Bhagwati would inspire unity and empowerment within society.
