Shah to address inaugural session of NIA’s ‘Anti-Terror Conference-2024’
The two-day conference is being organized by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), Ministry of Home Affairs.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday reviewed measures for countering terrorism and curb Fake Indian Currency Notes at a meeting here, an official release said.
The minister gave directions for an assessment of capabilities of state special forces as they are the first responders in any terror-related incident, it said.
The meeting also identified action areasd, including capacity building of various security agencies and state police through specialised training programmes.

“The strategy to curb terror financing and Fake Indian Currency Notes was also reviewed,” it said.
Empasising zero tolerance for terrorism, he said all efforts must be coordinated and synergised to root it out.
He stressed on professional investigation of incidents related to terrorism and need for cooperation with friendly countries for countering the menace.
