The SKBB opened the first of its kind ‘Blood Donation Camp Complex’ in the state for free use by any organisation, social clubs and NGOs with all infrastructure and medical assistance in the state.
Jaipur’s Swasthya Kalyan Blood Bank (SKBB), in service for the last 28 years, has become the first blood bank in Rajasthan to get accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Health Providers (NABH) accreditation for ‘quality services’ to patients required blood units.
The NABH is a subsidiary of the Quality Council of India (a GoI undertaking) which provides quality certificate recognition to institutions working in the health sector. Its certification ensures that the Swasthya Kalyan Blood Bank keeps the best interests of the patient and the donor in mind, Dr. S S Agarwal, SKBB Chairman, said on Friday.
