The last date of filing nomination papers for the first phase of LS poll is March 27. The scrutiny will take place on March 28, and the withdrawal of nominations by March 30.
Nomination process for the first phase of LS poll on 12 seats in Rajasthan will begin on Wednesday.
The first phase election will be held on April 19 on the seats of Sriganganagar, Bikaner, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Jaipur-Rural, Jaipur, Alwar, Bharatpur, Karauli-Dholpur, Dausa and Tonk-Sawaimadhopur in the State.
The last date for filing nomination papers is March 27. The second phase of poll process for 13 seats going to poll on April 26 will begin on March 26.

The Congress has so far put out its first list of 10 contestants, of which six candidates will be in the fray in the
first phase, and four in the second phase.
The BJP has declared 15 candidates so far, of which five will go to the polls in the first phase, and ten in the second phase.
In the first phase, Union Minister Arjun Meghwal will try his luck from Bikaner seat against the Congress candidate Govind Ram Meghawal, former Rajasthan Minister.
Para-olympian Devendra Jhajhajharia will contest on the BJP ticket in Churu constituency against the present BJP MP and rebel Rahul Kaswan, who recently joined the Congress.
Congress sitting MLA Lalit Yadav will be in the fray from
Alwar seat against Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav.
By dropping the sitting MP Ranjeeta Koli on Bharatpur seat, the BJP has fielded Ramswaroop Koli against the Congress candidate Sanjana Jatav.
Two sitting Congress MLAs Brijendra Ola from Jhunjhunu, and Harish Meena on Tonk-Sawaimadhopur seats have yet to wait for their BJP rivals.
Similarly, Sikar’s BJP MP Sumedanand Sarswati is waiting for the Congress contestant.
