Amid a massive security arrangement, 2 days after the incidents of three explosions, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday resumed his Bharat Jodo Yatra in Jammu to be greeted by many people on the road.
Heavily guarded by the police and para military forces, Gandhi resumed the foot march from Hiranagar bordering Pakistan, on the Jammu-Pathankot Highway in the morning.

It started at 7 in the morning, where Gandhi was accompanied by State Congress president Vikar Rasool Wani and working president, Raman Bhalla and the people on both sides of the road were waiting to catch a glimpse of the foot march and its leader Rahul Gandhi.
Then it halted at the Chak Nanak in Samba district after covering a distance of about 25 kms. The Yatra will reach Jammu on Monday which is scheduled to end in Srinagar on 30
January, when the scion of the Nehru-Gandhi family will be
hoisting the National Flag at the Congress Headquarters near the Lal Chowk.
Notably, Param Vir Chakra awardee, Captain Bana Singh (Retired) and Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut also joined the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ in Kathua district on Friday. Former Chief Minister Dr. Farooq Abdullah received the Yatra at Lakhanpur when it entered Jammu and Kashmir from Punjab.
Peoples Democratic Party president Mehbooba Mufti, National Conference vice president Omar Abdullah and CPM leader Mohamad Yousuf Tarigami have also confirmed their participation in the foot march in different locations.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has invited leaders of 23 opposition parties in Jammu & Kashmir to join the proposed rally in Srinagar on the concluding day.
