The BJP leader also said that the conditions of Amethi – Gandhi’s parliamentary constituency – point to the Congress chief’s efficiency as a leader.
“Despite having a vision, there’s a question mark on his efficiency as nations knows condition of Amethi,” she said.
Praising the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre, Irani said, “On one hand there’s an efficient govt which has taken resolution to build a New India, on the other there’s a man who stays restricted to making announcements.”
Earlier today, Gandhi took a swipe at the BJP over the party’s manifesto.
“The Congress manifesto was created through discussion. The voice of over a million Indian people it is wise and powerful. The BJP Manifesto was created in a closed room. The voice of an isolated man, it is short sighted and arrogant,” he tweeted.
Gandhi’s tweet came a day after the BJP released what it called ‘Sankalp Patra’ (resolution document) highlighting its achievements and vowing to scrap Article 370 and Article 35A of the Constitution of India.

Among other promises the BJP made in its manifesto were expeditious construction of a Ram temple, a firm hand in dealing with terrorism and doubling farmers’ income by 2022.
Earlier on Monday, in a stinging criticism of the BJP manifesto, the Congress said the ruling party’s ‘Sankalp Patra’ was a copy paste of its 2014 poll document and changed all previous deadlines.
Releasing the manifesto, PM Modi said the focus of their ‘Sankalp Patra’ is on “one vision, one direction”.
