Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on Monday, asserted that the Gandhis will remain in India, will campaign for votes in Rae Bareli, and are garnering backing from Pakistan.

The Chief Minister exuded confidence that Rae Bareli would not align with a person being supported by Pakistan.

At a public gathering in Sareni, where he appealed for support for state government minister Dinesh Pratap Singh, the CM remarked, “Indian soldiers were martyred in Pulwama. The Pakistani minister supported that incident. Now, this very minister is endorsing the Congress candidate in Rae Bareli. What exactly are Rahul Gandhi’s ties with Pakistan?”

Hitting out at the Congress manifesto, the CM said, “This isn’t a ‘nyay patra’ but rather an ‘Anayay patra’ (letter of injustice) towards India. It’s a blueprint of conspiracy against our nation. Within it, Congress discusses poverty alleviation. While the slogan ‘Gareebi Hatao’ originated from the grandmother, it’s still being echoed by the grandson today. They propose combating poverty by imposing inheritance tax through property scrutiny. Congress is eying the property of your ancestors.”

Terming the alliance of Congress and SP as ‘dangerous for the country’, Yogi said, “‘Do yuvaaon ki jodi dhokhebaz hai (The pair of two young people is deceitful). They are saying that ‘Jeetenge toh milkar lootenge, aur haarenge toh fir chhutenge’ (If we win, we will loot together, and if we lose we will fall apart). These people can only do injustice to the country and state.”

Continuing his diatribe, he added: “Rahul Gandhi criticizes the state outside Uttar Pradesh and the nation beyond India’s borders. In 2010, during the UPA regime, he expressed to an American official that the real threat in India doesn’t come from ISI, Muslim fundamentalists, or terrorists, but from Hindus. Rahul, who tarnishes the image of Hindus, now seeks their votes. They will incite caste-based conflicts and then redistribute reservations in favor of Muslims.”

The CM issued a stern warning to the Congress regarding granting ‘freedom of food,’ to the minorities as mentioned in their manifesto, stressing that while the dietary preferences of the majority and minority communities are almost the same in India, at one place their views differ and that relates to cow. They should know that ‘Gaay humari maata hai, janam janam ka naata hai, ise kaatoge toh do-do haath ho jaega.’ (cow is our other and we won’t allow cow slaughter in the country).

Accusing Congress of endorsing cow slaughter, he cautioned the people that supporting such policies could lead to the degradation of the sanctity of Ram Janmabhoomi. Expressing grave concern, he suggested that Congress is engaging in a perilous game for the nation, noting that the populace has already indicated their dissatisfaction by showing them the way out.*

CM Yogi asserted that the Congress was responsible for the demolition of Ram Sethu. He pointed out that the government, sworn to uphold the Constitution, had previously submitted an affidavit to the Supreme Court denying the existence of Ram and Krishna. He denounced the government for its negligence, pointing out that the original copy of the Constitution illustrates the ‘Ram Darbar’ traveling from Lanka to Ayodhya on Pushpak Viman. He accused the government of deception in the Supreme Court.

Furthermore, he lambasted them, stating, “Their intellectuals oppose the construction of the Ram temple in India. But where else should it be built if not in India? Italy? The construction of the Ram temple marks a significant milestone in Indian history, and our generation is fortunate to witness it.”

The Chief Minister asserted that the SP is misguided and incapable of steering the country towards the right path. He condemned its leader’s ‘useless’ comment on the Ram temple, and reminded the public of their past actions, including opening fire on Ram devotees. “It withdraws the cases filed against the terrorists who attacked Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya and Sankatmochan Temple in Kashi. This election pits Rambhakts against ‘Ramdrohis.”

In addition, he remarked, “I was listening to the song ‘Rambhakt he Raj karega, Dilli ke sinhasan par.’ I asked the people about the significance of the slogan ‘Phir ek bar, Modi Sarkar,’ and they responded with ‘Jo Ram ko laaye hain hum unko layenge.’ It seems even God prefers his devotee to govern.” The Chief Minister emphasized that the Pakistan and ‘Ramdrohis’ echo each other in opposition to Modi.”

The Chief Minister listed the various schemes initiated by both the Central and State Governments. He highlighted the transformative changes witnessed in India over the past decade under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. However, he criticized Congress leaders for questioning what Modi has done for Rae Bareli, noting that they should also account for their own contributions over the past 65 years.

The Chief Minister emphasized that Rae Bareli boasts an AIIMS facility, with funding provided by Modi’s administration. Furthermore, he highlighted Modi’s allocation of funds for the expansion and modernization of the railway factory in Rae Bareli, with the Prime Minister attending the inauguration ceremony.

The Chief Minister mentioned hearing news this morning about riots erupting in PoK due to severe shortages of essentials like flour, rice, and electricity. He emphasized that people are now fighting for food. “To the ‘foolish person’ who extols the virtues of Pakistan, I say: go to Pakistan and do not burden India.”

On this occasion, BJP candidate from Rae Bareli Lok Sabha seat Dinesh Pratap Singh, State Government Minister Pratibha Shukla, BJP District President Budhilal Pasi, former minister Girish Narayan Pandey, former MLA Dhirendra Bahadur Singh, Rakesh Singh, RBS Singh, Ajay Tripathi etc. were present.

Meanwhile,Yogi Adityanath made a visit to the Baleshwar Mahadev Temple prior to addressing a gathering in Sareni, Rae Bareli. Here he had darshan of Baba and worshipped according to the rituals. The CM wished for the happiness and prosperity of Uttar Pradesh, and also sought blessings for victory in the Rae Bareli constituency.
