Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann met his Telangana counterpart and BRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao at Pragathi Bhavan here on Tuesday. Mann was in Hyderabad to hold a meeting with various industrial groups such as GMR and Annapurna Studios seeking investment for Punjab.
The Punjab chief minister extended an invitation to industry captains for an investment summit to be held by the Punjab government at Mohali in the last week of February.

Later, he met his K Chandrasekhar Rao and the two leaders discussed the progress of Telangana and Punjab as well as national politics.
Earlier this year, Rao had visited Chandigarh, along with AAP’s national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to distribute cheques of compensation among farmers who died during the farm protests. Mann had also attended a programme where he had outlined his plans to float a political platform for farmers.
