The girl, three-year-old Naisa, is seen in the video playing with the prime minister as if he (the PM) is her grandfather.

As she is tugging his beard and touching his spectacles, the prime minister responds with a warm smile and a blessing.
At one point, when the child caught the spectacle of the prime minister, her mother tried to prevent her but he responded to it with a heartwarming smile.
Naisa, who lost her father, grandfather and two siblings in the devastating landslides, was oblivious of the fact that she was meeting the prime minister of the country and getting a grandfatherly affection from him.
During his visit to the landslide affected areas in Wayanad, the prime minister went to the WIMS hospital in Meppadi, where the injured are undergoing treatment and listened to the dreadful account of some.
It was during this visit that the prime minister met and interacted with the young landslide survivor.
