Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bhutan next week on what is expected to be his last trip abroad before the Lok Sabha elections.
The visit is expected to take place on 21-22 March, official sources said on Friday.
Mr Modi accepted an invitation to visit the neighbouring country when Bhutan Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay met him here last night. Mr Tobgay is in India on an official visit, his first overseas trip after assuming office in February 2024.
