Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil projects worth Rs 15,718 crore during his visit to Telangana on two consecutive days.
The PM will be in Adilabad on 4 March and will inaugurate projects worth Rs 6697 crore. On 5 March, he will be in Sangareddy to unveil projects worth Rs 9021 crore. This will be the Prime Minister’s first visit to the state after the new Congress government took over in Telangana.
Underlining the projects to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi, Union Minister for Tourism and DoNER G Kishan Reddy today said that this will include expansion of national Highways connecting Adilabad and Bela and Hyderabad and Bhupalpatnam as well as electrification of railway lines.
The second thermal power unit at Ramagundam by NTPC will also be unveiled. During his visit to Sangareddy town, Prime Minister Modi will first fly to Begumpet airport where he will inaugurate Civil Aviation Research Organisation (CARO) which is the country’s first Griha 5 standard green building.
In Sangareddy, the projects unveiled by the PM will include expansion of several national highways and MMTS Phase II project and new train between Ligampally and Ghat Kesar. He will also address public rallies during his visit to the state.
