Technology use in election process in India an example for other nations: Prez
The president was addressing the 14th National Voters’ Day Celebrations in New Delhi.
The day is observed to mark the Foundation Day of the Election Commission.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday greeted the people on the National Voters Day.
In a tweet, the Prime Minister said: “Greetings on National Voters’ Day. Inspired by this year’s theme of ‘Nothing Like Voting, I Vote For Sure’, may we all work together to further strengthen active participation in elections and strengthen our democracy. I also laud ECI for their efforts in this area.”

Notably, the day is observed to mark the Foundation Day of the Election Commission. The Voters’ day is dedicated to the young community’s awareness of the importance of voting. Apart from encouraging the youth to participate in the electoral process, it focuses on the Right to vote as the basic right.
