Prime Minister Narendra Modi was accorded a rousing welcome in his Varanasi parliamentary constituency on late Saturday evening.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath welcomed the PM at the airport.

The BJP workers gave him a grand welcome amidst conch sound and beating of drums. They also raised slogans of Modi-Modi along with chants of Har-Har Mahadev.

Strict security arrangements have been made at gate number four of Kashi Vishwanath Dham, where the PM is slated to visit.

During his road show from Airport to Vishwanath Dham, the PM was greeted with showering of flower petals by people from both sides of the road.

During his 28-km long road show people thronged the roads to welcome their Lok Sabha representative, who will contest from here for the third time.

At around 30 points, the BJP workers made special arrangements for welcoming the PM.

Later, the PM will worship at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and thereafter will reach Bareka for the night stay.

Tomorrow morning, PM Modi will go to Azamgarh to inaugurate five airports of UP and other projects, besides addressing a public meeting
