I.N.D.I alliance wants to push nation towards anarchy through appeasement: Yogi
The UP chief minister accused Congress and SP of being antinational, who encourage and support terrorism, and divide society along caste lines.
Dhankar was speaking at the inaugural function of the Regional Ayurvedic Conference in presence of UP Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow.
Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankar claimed that India today is the most vibrant democracy in the world, at the panchayat, municipality, state and Central levels, but some people were trying to tarnish the image of the country abroad.
“Where is India today, that was never thought and it was not imagined what is happening in India today. But even after this, some people allege to set the narrative that the mike is switched off in the Parliament of the world’s largest democracy. Nothing can be more untrue than this,” he said without taking any names.

“Still some people are defaming India abroad,” he noted.

Dhankar was speaking at the inaugural function of the Regional Ayurvedic Conference in presence of UP Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, here on Saturday,
Look at today’s development, India has changed, the vice-president said.
“Today, being the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, I am compelled to say that the mike does not stop in the Parliament of India. Yes there was a time, there was a dark chapter, it was the time of Emergency,” he said.
“I had met Ramdev ji a long time ago, I told him to suggest such a way that the lawyers of both the parties come to the court with a calm mind.Today Acharya Balakrishna ji is present here, famous Ayurvedacharya is present. Being the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, I want to say something – that you should prepare such a medicine so that the dignity of the Parliament itself is restored,” he said.
The vice-president said, “Our Constituent Assembly debated and resolved many complex and divisive issues for 3 years. But in a long span of 3 years, there was no disruption, no one came to the well, no placards were shown.”
“Our conduct today is the opposite of that. We cannot see the temples of democracy being disrespected like this. We cannot allow temples of democracy to be outraged,” he stressed.
He said country is always first, and should be. We are proud Indians and should take pride in our historical achievements. The youth power ahead of us will decide what will be the picture of our country in the future.
“Now the governance system inside India has only one thing at its center – India’s interest. Now India’s voice is not heard, rather people wait to see what India will say on this subject,” he said.
He said, “I would just like to say that create an environment, conduct in Parliament and Legislative Assemblies should be exemplary. There should not be any disturbance there. But how will this happen – for this all of you will have to start a mass movement. Those people who disrespect the achievements of this great country have to be made accountable”.
He said the way India has dealt with Covid has been praised all over the world.
“Some people could not accept that India made its own vaccine. We have given 220 crore vaccine doses, and their digital mapping was done,” he said while adding that the world saw the power of yoga, the whole world supported it and Ayurveda proved its potential during Kovid.
Dhankar said UP is in news for right reasons. The mind becomes very happy when people talk about UP.
“Did the people of UP ever think that law and order would be restored? But today you can see. People had said about the Chief Minister that let’s see how long his law and order will last, but it has lasted, the roots of this plant are going down,” VP said.
