The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has launched a portal for pensioners to get their pension payment queries answered. The portal, https://mis.epfindia.gov.in/PensionPaymentEnquiry, is available on the EPFO website where all pensioners can get pension-related information.
According to a statement posted on the Press Information Bureau website, pensioners can check pension payment order number, passbook details and other related information such as date of credit of pension, submission of pensioner’s life certificate etc on the portal.

“It is helpful to know the status of their life certificate, in case of non-submission/rejection of life certificate of the pensioners. It also provides the details and the reason of stoppage of pension,” said the release.
The website now also has an “enhanced” Track eKYC facility, which EPFO members can use to check the status of Aadhaar seeded against their UAN and to figure out the specific mismatch details.
The facility can be found on the EPFO website (www.epfindia.gov.in >> Online Services >> e-KYC Portal>> TRACK eKYC).
To check the status, EPFO members will first have to provide UAN and then click the “Track eKYC” button. The exact status in respect of their UAN would be displayed on the screen, said the statement.
A meeting of the Employees' Provident Fund Organization has decided to hire two Chartered Accountant firms for the preparation of Annual Financial Statements of the EPFO, and to facilitate the automation of the process of preparation of financial statements.
The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) added around 9.30 lakh new members in August 2024, representing a 0.48% increase in new members compared to August 2023.
Union Minister of Labour & Employment Dr Mansukh Mandaviya released the provisional payroll data, and mentioned that the EPFO has added 19.94 lakh net members in July, marking the highest recorded increase since payroll data tracking began in April 2018.
