J-K: Exchange of fire between terrorists, security forces in forest area of Srinagar
An exchange of fire between terrorists and security forces was reported in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar district, police said on Sunday.
Amin received serious bullet wounds and was rushed to a hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.
An activist of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) was killed when terrorists shot at him in the Gangbok area of Tengpora on the outskirts of Srinagar on Sunday evening.
Police said that gunmen fired upon the PDP worker Mohammad Amin Dar in Gangbok. Amin received serious bullet wounds and was rushed to a hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.
A resident of Gangbugh, Amin was reportedly a close aide of former minister and senior PDP leader Syed Altaf Bukhari.

Soon after the attack, security forces launched a manhunt to nab the attackers.
