An 89-member delegation of pilgrims (Zayreens) from Pakistan will arrive in Ajmer in the early hours of Tuesday to participate in the 813th annual Urs of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishti at the Dargah Sharif.
According to official sources, the group entered India through Attari-Wagah border and is expected to reach Ajmer railway station around 2 am on Tuesday, January 7, aboard Chetak Express. Strict security arrangements have been put in place for their arrival.

After reaching the station, the pilgrims will be escorted to Central Girls School, Purani Mandi, where accommodation arrangements have been made for their stay.
As per Protocol Officer Arun Pal, out of 102 applicants, 89 were granted visas to pay their respects at the holy shrine of Khwaja Gareeb Nawaz. The pilgrims will participate in the Kul Ki Rasm, one of the central rituals of the Urs, on Tuesday.
This year’s delegation is relatively smaller in size compared to previous years and is arriving in Ajmer a day later than originally scheduled.
The Pakistani Jatha will conclude its visit and depart for Pakistan on the afternoon of January 10.
