CPI voices concern over communal violence against Hindus in Bangladesh
Rajya Sabha MP and CPI national executive member P Sandosh Kumar condemned the violence, urging the Bangladeshi interim government to act swiftly.
Violating the ceasefire, Pakistan Rangers on Wednesday resorted to unprovoked firing in Ranbirsinghpura area of Jammu district.
The BSF troops retaliated and returned the fire.

A BSF spokesman said: “On 14 Feb 2024 at about 5:50 pm, Pak Rangers resorted to unprovoked firing in RS Pura area which was befittingly responded by the BSF troops. Firing stopped at about 6:15 pm. Troops are on high alert.”
