Junior doctors write to chief secretary with suggestions
It pertains to six-point suggestions to the government on how to improve state-run healthcare services.
A passenger will receive faster treatment if he falls sick in a train or while it is moving.
Passengers travelling in trains no longer have to wait for treatment at the station as larger stations will have doctors on duty round-the-clock.
A passenger will receive faster treatment if he falls sick in a train or while it is moving. At its key railway stations, the North Central Railway Administration will station shift-based doctors for a full day. It would begin at important train hubs like Kanpur Central and Prayagraj Junction, among others.
Currently, the checking staff on board the train communicates information about the passenger to the commercial control if any passenger’s health deteriorates. The doctors working in the railroad hospital or railroad health centre are then informed of this information by the control. Sometimes this process is delayed, and the train leaves the station in question for its next stop before the doctors show up.

In response to this issue, the railway administration has begun making arrangements for the deployment of doctors at important rail hubs like Prayagraj, Kanpur, Aligarh, Mirzapur, etc., 24 hours a day. At the stations, doctors will be stationed in three shifts. But they will continue to work on contract.
