App to empower Mahakumbh Police with swift response capabilities
In line with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision, a dedicated app is being developed to address the unique challenges faced by police personnel deployed during Mahakumbh.
Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways said the Rs 10,000-crore projects will generate employment opportunities in the state and boost industrial development.
Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, in the presence of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of 18 National Highway projects in Gorakhpur on Monday.
Gadkari said the projects being launched with an investment of more than Rs 10,000 crore, will offer employment opportunities in the state and boost industrial development.

He said while the four-laning of the Sonauli-Gorakhpur highway will strengthen border security along the international border, the construction of the road from Kushinagar to Lumbini will provide a boost to international tourism in Buddhist tourist places.

He added that the bypass constructed along the Gorakhpur Ring Road will relieve traffic jam in the city and help in the establishment of commercial and residential units.
“The construction of Gilola bypass will improve the connectivity of Bahraich-Shrawasti-Balrampur districts. Along with this traffic will be smooth for the tourists of Devi Patan temple,” he said at the inaugural.
Union Minister of State Shri Pankaj Chowdhary along with MPs, MLAs and other officials were present at the event.
