Manipur hostage killing handed over to NIA: CM Biren Singh
Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Friday confirmed that the case involving the killing of six hostages in Jiribam has been handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday raided multiple places in the Kashmir Valley as part of its crackdown of terror networks.
Official sources said the raids are underway in Bandipora, Shopian, Kulgam and Pulwama districts.
“Local police and the CRPF is assisting the NIA in conducting these raids. Details would be shared later,” the sources said.
