The National Federation of Tourism and Transport Cooperatives (NFTC) is gearing up to provide more than ten lakh jobs to the people in the country. It is collaborating with various ministries to start a transport service on an indigenous model at much cheaper and concessional rates than that of foreign transport companies. What is noteworthy about the initiative is that the drivers will get the maximum benefit from it.
NFTC Chairman VVP Nair said, “Today, through the NFTC, we are going to provide employment to lakhs of people in the next one year on the lines of Ola and Uber. A major part of the income will go to the drivers. people associated with this service like drivers, mechanics and all those with insurance will be benefited.”

While more than 10 lakh people will be employed thus in the next few years through this transport service to be started with the support of the Central government, 40 lakh people will be benefited directly or indirectly. The federation is going to promote rural tourist spots which hitherto have been untouched by the tourism industry.

Meanwhile, the NFTC launched a new Central board Office and a YouTube channel in Delhi. This new setup was inaugurated by the national president of RSS’ Prakalp Sahakar Bharati D N Thakur. The NFTC Chairman and all the members of the Board were present on the occasion.
The NFTC is collaborating with the Central government on many fronts to commemorate the successful completion of eight years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in office. It is moving towards becoming the number one cooperative in the country while setting new records.
The NFTC’s objective is to employ lakhs of youth while maintaining Swadeshi and Indian values and culture. The cooperative organisation is strongly carrying forward the vision of Mahatma Gandhi and Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay to make a strong India.
