The oath-taking ceremony of the new chief minister and the state cabinet is to be a grand affair with everyone's eye on who will be the state's new chief minister.
An estimated one lakh people are expected to attend the ceremony at the Kashiram Smriti Upvan on Sunday evening, sources said, adding that chief ministers of BJP-ruled states are also likely to attend.
While no clear indication about the next chief minister has not yet been made officially, reports claim that Union Minister Manoj Sinha and Home Minister Rajnath Singh are front runners for the coveted post.
The official announcement will be made on Saturday, party sources said.
The BJP is returning to power in the country's most populous state after a gap of almost 15 years. It won 325 seats along with its allies in the 403-member Assembly.
