Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who reached Netherlands on a day-long visit on Tuesday, met Dutch PM Mark Rutte and said ‘Netherlands is a natural partner in India's economic development’.
“It is with the help of Netherlands that India successfully got membership of Missile Technology Control Regime last year, thank you!" PM Modi told his Dutch counterpart.

Modi will have a discussion on global issues, including counter-terrorism and climate change. He is expected to discuss India’s NSG membership issue as well.
The meeting is also to celebrate 70 years of diplomatic relations between India and the Netherlands.
He will also meet CEOs of Dutch companies and ‘will encourage them to join the Indian growth story’. “I will also call on King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands and meet Queen Maxima,” Modi had said in a Facebook post before leaving on his three-nation trip.
