SC to hear plea to defer medical PG entrance test on Feb 7
The Supreme Court is likely to hear a plea on deferment of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test exam 2022 date on Monday, February 7.

NEET 2019: The registrations for undergraduate courses for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test will start on November 1, 2018.
The candidates should note that the exam is applicable for admissions to MBBS/BDS courses in India in Medical/Dental Colleges.

How to register for NEET 2019:
• Visit the official website of NTA-www.nta.ac.in
• When the homepage opens, click on the tab which says, ‘Medical’
• After that, on the next webpage, click on the ‘Registration tab’
• After that, fill the application form for NEET UG 2019 and click on ‘submit’
Academic qualification:
• Interested candidates should be in the age bracket of 17 years to 25 years
• The students should have studied physics, chemistry, and biology (or biotechnology) in both classes 11 and 12 from a recognised board.
• The candidate should have knowledge of English Language.
NEET 2019: Dates to remember
• The application process starts: November 1, 2018
• The application process ends: November 30, 2018
• Examination date: May 5, 2018
Note: NEET 2019 will be an offline test and it will follow a similar pattern like the previous years.
NEET 2019: Exam pattern
• There will be 180 objective type questions in the exam with a total time duration of 3 hours.
• The examination will have 45 questions from Physics, 45 from Chemistry and 90 questions from Biology.
• Four marks will be given for every correct answer
• One mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
