Naga ceasefire extended by a year

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Monday announced the extension of the ceasefire between Government of India and National Socialist Council of Nagaland (Neopao Konyak/Kitovi) (NSCN/NK) and National Socialist Council of Nagaland/Reformation (NSCN/R) for another year from 28 April.

An MHA release said the National Socialist Council of Nagaland/K-Khango has also re-entered into a fresh Ceasefire Agreement with the Government with effect from Monday for a period of one year.
