Uttarakhand government has completed all preparations for hosting the one-day Himalayan conclave in Mussoorie. Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman will be participating in the meet at the famous Indian hill station on Sunday.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said, “In a first, eleven Indian Himalayan Region (IHR) State leaders will meet Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman. Chairman of 15th Finance Commission of India N K Singh, Vice Chairman of NITI Aayog Rajiv Kumar, CEO of Niti Aayog Amitabh Kant and other senior officials of Government of India will attend the conclave in Mussoorie on 28 July to discuss and deliberate the issues faced by IHR states.”

Many of the guests arrived in Mussoorie for the conclave on Saturday. Ahead of the Himalayan state meeting, ex-Uttarakhand Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Harish Rawat posted a message for the success of the Himalayan conclave on social media. In his post, Harish Rawat attached a three-page letter providing various suggestions.
