Twitter was flooded with congratulatory messages to Haryana’s Manushi Chhillar, who was crowned Miss World 2017 in China on Saturday. Among those who greeted the 20-year-old woman on Twitter comprised President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan and former cricketer Virendra Sehwag.

Manushi  became the sixth Indian to win the title at the 67th edition of Miss World contest. She broke the 17-year-old drought of the title coming to India. Before her, Priyanka Chopra had won the title in 2000.

Everyone is in awe of the young woman as it’s proud moment for the entire nation.
