Over 4,100 Looted Firearms Surrendered in Manipur Amid Ongoing Peace Efforts
More than 4,100 firearms looted from police armouries during the peak of ethnic violence in Manipur have been voluntarily surrendered to authorities till Saturday.

Unidentified militants on Thursday fired upon the vehicle of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at Lazibal Chowk in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Militants fired on Naka party of JKP/CRPF 116 Bn from a Sentro car, which misses the target and hit one civilian namely Shakeeb Shabir from Shopian on his chest. High alert Sounded for interception of Sentro, police said.

According to the police, one civilian namely Shakeeb Shabir from Shopian is injured.
Search Operation is underway and the area of the encounter site has been cordoned off.
