Days after a deadly blaze killed 17 people including a child in a Karol Bagh hotel in central Delhi, a massive fire broke out at a greeting card factory in Naraina Industrial Area, Phase I early on Thursday morning.
No casualties have been reported so far.
A total of 29 fire tenders were engaged in fire fighting operations.
A call was received at 7.10 am about the fire that broke out in factory number 113 in Naraina Industrial area.
According to media reports, a PBX board caught the fire first and that turned massive.
“Prima facie it may be a short circuit in wires that caused it. The cooling operation is on,” a fire official said.

Earlier on Tuesday, a massive fire engulfed the Arpit Palace Hotel in the congested Karol Bagh area. Most of the deaths took place due to suffocation.
Eyewitnesses said several people jumped out of the upper floors to save their lives.
