Dr Yadav was addressing the Yadav Mahakumbh held in Bijnor area of Lucknow on Sunday. Apart from MP CM Dr Mohan Yadav, senior BJP leaders were also present in the Mahakumbh.
Dr Yadav said that UP is the land which gives slogans and also makes them come true.
Referring to his relationship with the state, he said that his ancestors had gone to Madhya Pradesh from Azamgarh 400 years ago. Besides, his wife also belonged from UP.
Targeting Akhilesh Yadav’s family, Dr Mohan Yadav said: “Yadav politics and vote bank is occupied by a single family but what do they do for Yadavs.”
Without naming anyone, Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav said that his father was not a Chief Minister but still the BJP gave him opportunities to serve in various positions.
He also highlighted contributions of Lord Krishna, who was a Yaduvanshi. He invited everyone to visit Lord Krishna’s education centre near Ujjain and pledged to turn it into a pilgrimage centre.
He said that Lord Krishna suffered hardships but did not bow down and similarly Sanatan Dharma also did not bow before anyone.
Expressing his gratitude to the BJP, he said that he was given the post of CM , whereas Yadav does not have 500 votes in my assembly constituency. “I have been winning elections for three terms,” he said.
Addressing the program, Yadav leaders said that the Yadav community was united through the Yadav Mahakumbh. A family has exploited the Yadav community and kept it as its own property but now the society is with Dr Mohan Yadav, they said.
Earlier, the MP CM paid a courtesy visit to Raj Bhawan to meet Governor Anandiben Patel. UP Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak welcomed Dr Yadav at the airport and accompanied him to Raj Bhawan and Yadav Mahakumbh.
