Atishi visits Rangpuri, pledges swift action on civic issues
Delhi Chief Minister Atishi visited Rangpuri Pahadi in South West Delhi on Sunday to address grievances after Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena highlighted the area's civic challenges.
The Prime Minister Office (PMO) also urged people to share their innovative ideas and suggestions with the Prime Minister for his Mann Ki Baat programme.
Ahead of his Mann Ki Baat broadcast to the nation scheduled for 28 July, Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday called upon fellow countrymen to share with him their ideas that might be mentioned by him during his talk programme on All India Radio.
Referring to his ensuing radio broadcast, Modi on Tuesday gave details of the toll-free number on which interested people can record their messages. Terming peoples’ messages as ‘treasures’, the Prime minister asked them to also contribute on MyGov Open forum.

“Dial 1800-11-7800 to record your message for #MannKiBaat. These messages are treasures of insightful thoughts and ideas, reflecting the spirit of positivity among 130 crore Indians. Do also contribute on the MyGov Open Forum,” Modi tweeted.

The Prime Minister Office (PMO) also urged people to share their innovative ideas and suggestions with the Prime Minister for his Mann Ki Baat programme. If you have innovative ideas and suggestions, here is an opportunity to directly share it with the PM. Some of the suggestions would be referred by the Prime Minister during his address.
The monthly programme was launched during the first tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In his first Mann Ki Baat address after coming back to power, Modi had underlined the need for all to come together to jointly deal with water scarcity in the country. With the country reeling under unprecedented floods and devastation, Modi’s next broadcast is expected to dwell on the issue among other things.
