Cattle smuggling racket busted in Odisha, three arrested
Police in Odisha’s Malkangiri district police on Tuesday rescued 31 cattle which were being illegally transported to slaughterhouses in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh.
A man was on Monday, 12 February, apprehended while trying to climb the wall of Bhisiana Air force station here, police said.
The accused has been identified as Rajesh Kumar, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, Bathinda Superintendent of Police (Investigation) Swarn Singh said.

“He was caught while trying to climb the wall of the air force station,” Singh said, adding the accused was later handed over to the police.

“Rajesh was booked under the relevant sections of the IPC and the Official Secrets Act,” the SP said.
He will be questioned for his motive behind his attempt, he added.
