A shocking incident has been reported from Madhya Pradesh, where a mother reportedly slashed her own one-year-old daughter’s throat for repeatedly asking for milk.
According to media reports, the mother has been identified as Ankita, who allegedly killed her toddler on Thursday when there was no one in the house.
As per media reports, Ankita lost her temper when the infant kept crying and asking for milk. She used a sharp weapon to slit her daughter’s throat, reports said. She left her residence after committing the crime and went to her relative’s house. Her sudden departure from house led to suspicion and her neighbours broke the bolted door to find the body of the infant.

Madhya Pradesh Police have arrested the mother and investigations are on.
The infant’s body has been sent for post-mortem.
