Police preventing party workers from reaching Lucknow: UP Congress chief

UP Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh stated here on Thursday that the development of tourist destinations in the state is the government’s top priority. The renovation and redevelopment of Maharaja Bijli Pasi Fort facilities align with this objective.
Singh said Maharaja Bijli Pasi was a popular king and the fort was built by him. He said at present, this was an important place. Facilities will be developed here to attract tourists of all age groups so that children, youth, old men and women show interest in visiting this place, he added.
”Beautification will be done for this. In the evening, there will be a light and sound show to attract tourists, in which Maharaja Bijli Pasi and his achievements will be narrated. Under the scheme, a play area for children will also be developed, where various swings will be available for children to play. Apart from this, various works including pathways, canteen, landscape, and toilets will be done,” he informed.
The Tourism and Culture Minister emphasised the remarkable growth of tourism in UP, particularly highlighting the state’s leading position in domestic tourism.
Building upon this success, the focus was now on extending these achievements to international tourists through ongoing development initiatives for tourist destinations and facilities.
