The Lok Sabha on Wednesday paid tributes to former Union minister and BJP MP from Ajmer Sanwar Lal Jat who passed away here this morning.
Jat breathed his last at the AIIMS where he was undergoing treatment following a cardiac arrest.

"We deeply mourn the loss of our colleague," Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan said while making a brief note about Jat's political career.
The members stood in silence for a minute as a mark of respect to the departed soul. The House was then adjourned for the day.
Jat had served as Minister of State for Water Resources in the Narendra Modi government from November 2014 to July, 2016. He was also an MLA for five terms in Rajasthan.
